The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you finally made the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean more quality to the paintings, am i right?.
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Alright now I may not be so active on dA but it would still be really nice if I can get a comment on a deviaton like the one on my ID I put up. Just wanted to know how I look to you guys and just to show you what I look like. Maybe I look really ugly or something idk. Sorry not trying to sound like a weirdo here but you know. I think all my watchers are awsome people and really good artists. I know I also may not comment on your deviation so much lately and I do try but its hard to find time for the internet lately...sorry. I already deleted 3 people who I watch that don't watch me back. They never comment on my things but I do with their stuff but they don't talk to me and its pointless even watching people who don't even talk to you. Wouldn't you agree? Well I can't be putting up drawings because I don't have a scanner so that sucks. I have not been drawing lately which may explain why I feel a bit down idk but Im starting again. I don't want to give that up!D: Well don't know of anyone will respond to this because no one really does anymore but it would nice to here from you guys.
