At my school they are doing this new thing for students who are late to class. When you come in late to class you have to sign this pink slip and if you have 3 tardys I think at the end of the week the teachers would give it to the office and the principle would make a list of the students and if you are on the list you will have to go to school ON SATURDAY!!!!!! But I also heared that they would do lottery with your name and pick a name and only that person would have to go to school even if they were only late once or twice you could still be at risk. I am not sure which one they actually do because we here diiferent sayings from teachers and it is confusing. But the techers don't really like this thing ethier or students and I am sure parents are to. My mom thinks it rediculous and so do I. I really don't think this is fair and it is a little harsh. And I think that they should make this punishment for students with bad behavior and who cause problems for everyone. Now that would be more reasonable instead of doing for tardies. being late is not a really that big of a deal and should not go that far with punishment like that! But if your tardy is exused you are fine. But trying not to be late is impossible! because there is always that one thing that will make you late like going to the bathroom or to your locker and especially in the morning when school starts because most students ride the bus and it can also depend on the time your bus can drop you off and that is how I am with my bus now. People are saying that this will not do anything to improve anything it is just going to make students ditch more and I think that could happen I just have a feeling that this saturday school thing won't really last long because I am sure there will be many complaints from parents and it will just stop and I just hope that this feeling I have will come true. Also they said that pretty soon the school administration who made this whole rule they will soon get this in all Denver Public Schools. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! DX This is so fucking dumb!!! -_- I already had to sign that tardy slip this morning and I was only a few seconds late... big deal! -_-

I personally believe hanging out in the halls is stupid anyways-if your going to ditch then GO HOME, don't just hang around school.
The school wastes so much of our times-including the times we are just sitting in class doing nothing but they aren't allowed to let us out early-i could be somewhere else doing work for another class.
I'll be glad to leave GW next year.
