Hi everyone, well yesterday I was at work and as I was leaving to go home I saw something on the sidewalk and I noticed that it was a baby bird! I nelt down next to the little thing to get a closer look and it looked like that it's left leg was broken. So I did stroke the bird a little with my finger and I was about to pick it up but I didn't because someone was this man was coming so I just unrapped my fingers around it. Then a this lady came by and she said is that a baby bird there? I said yeah I think one of its legs are broken. Then she said the more you keep touching it the more the mother will reject it. of course I just remembered that but did not think of it when touching it, oops^^; she did something weird too, she was making these kissing noises like you would when calling a cat o.O I just thought that was weird. She also said that she use to raise birds and so I thought, well if you use to do that then you sould know what to do and help the little thing. But then she just went off and i just had to leave the bird there even thought I wanted to take it and give it to this wild bird rehabilitation center but it is really far and my mom was not home either so I got up an walked off. But with the baby bird having an injured leg and all, the mother could not do anything to help it with it's leg so it would have just died anyway. I am still thinking about the little guy (don't know if that seems aa little silly or not) I don't know why. I am just a big animal lover I guess. But I felt sorry for the poor thing:(

We found a injured small bat once and gave it a little cage and everything but it got loose and the cat killed it.

Ah the poor thing. Well I did not see the bird the next day which is good because I would have feared that I would have seen it dead and I would have felt guilty or something.

Aww :( Poor guy. Well, these kind of situations are always hard. We used to have one baby bird once in our care, because it was so weak and seems like his/her mother had already rejected him.. It seemed to go well, the little thing begun thinking me as his mother too, it just followed me around when it was on a floor. :D And had a good appetite too. but then one day it died. Just all of a sudden. :/ Seems like birds are just too hard to be taken care of.
But you just have to hope that this little bird recovers. :) or then someone who was able to take it to bird center noticed it. But of course, with broken leg and all, it could be that some animal would have caught it. But let's hope not. I'm a big animal lover too, just want to help every little animal or insect that seems to be in trouble. ^^

Aww the poor thing:( well when I was at work the next day I did not see it which I feared if I did see it and it was dead. Well I did one time rescue this pigeon that looked like that it was injured because it kept flying into parked cars and people's homes. But we did take it to that wild bird rehabilitation center but on the drive there the poor bird was having seizures and then when we got there the woman told us that it may have been poisened probably by some thing it ate D: they said that they would treat it but I never knew if they saved it.
